Holistic Wellness – Insights to Your Health
The information, assessments and services provided by Holistic Wellness are intended to support health awareness, nutritional education, preventative wellbeing and informed lifestyle choices. They are complementary in nature and are not intended to replace conventional medical care.

Scope of Practice
Holistic Wellness provides an integrative approach to health and wellbeing, drawing upon nutritional therapy, lifestyle assessment and complementary observational modalities.

Depending upon the assessment selected and the individual circumstances of the client, services may include:
Nutritional and dietary assessment
Lifestyle and wellbeing assessment
Live Blood Analysis
Dry Blood Analysis
Iridology and iris observation
Sclera observation
Nailfold Capillaroscopy
Point-of-care biomarker screening
Nutritional and lifestyle education
Supplement and nutritional guidance, where appropriate

These approaches are used to provide additional information and educational insights that may help guide personalised nutritional and lifestyle recommendations.

Not a Medical Diagnosis
Holistic Wellness does not provide medical diagnosis through Live Blood Analysis, Dry Blood Analysis, Iridology, Sclera Observation or other complementary observational techniques.

Observations made using these modalities should not be interpreted as confirmation, exclusion or diagnosis of any disease, disorder or medical condition.

Where findings, symptoms, health history or screening results raise concerns that may require medical investigation, clients will be advised to consult their GP or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Biomarker Screening
Where point-of-care biomarker screening is offered, results are provided as screening information and should be interpreted within the limitations of the test used.

A screening result does not replace laboratory testing, medical examination or diagnosis by a GP, consultant or other appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Results outside an expected or reference range, unexpected findings, or results inconsistent with symptoms may require confirmation through an accredited medical laboratory or further assessment by an appropriate healthcare professional.

Holistic Wellness does not use point-of-care screening to independently diagnose medical conditions.

Medical Care and Treatment
Holistic Wellness is a complementary health and nutritional practice and is not a GP surgery, hospital, emergency medical service or substitute for medical care.

Clients should continue to attend routine medical appointments, investigations, screening programmes and specialist appointments recommended by their healthcare providers.

Nothing provided during a Holistic Wellness consultation should be interpreted as an instruction to avoid, delay or discontinue appropriate medical assessment or treatment.

Prescription Medication
Clients should never stop, reduce, increase or otherwise alter prescribed medication on the basis of information provided by Holistic Wellness unless instructed to do so by the healthcare professional responsible for prescribing or managing that medication.

Where nutritional supplements, herbal preparations or dietary changes are discussed, clients should disclose their current medication, diagnosed conditions, allergies and relevant medical history.

Potential interactions, contraindications and individual circumstances should always be considered.

Where appropriate, clients may be advised to discuss a proposed supplement, dietary intervention or other recommendation with their GP, pharmacist, consultant or other relevant healthcare professional before proceeding.

Nutritional and Supplement Recommendations
Any nutritional, dietary, lifestyle or supplement recommendations are provided according to the information available at the time of consultation and are intended to support general health and wellbeing.

Individual responses vary, and no particular health outcome can be guaranteed.

Recommendations may need to be modified as circumstances, medications, medical diagnoses, symptoms or investigation results change.

Clients are responsible for informing Holistic Wellness of relevant changes to their health or medication.

Prevention and Health Education
The philosophy of Holistic Wellness places significant emphasis on preventative wellbeing, nutritional education and helping clients better understand factors that may influence their long-term health.

This approach does not imply that disease can always be prevented through nutrition or lifestyle intervention, nor does it replace recognised medical screening, diagnosis or treatment.

Client Reports
Reports produced following an assessment are intended for the individual client and provide a record of observations, educational information and recommendations discussed during the consultation.

Terminology used within reports relating to complementary observational modalities should be understood within the context of those modalities and should not be interpreted as a medical diagnosis.

Clients are encouraged to share relevant reports, biomarker results or concerns with their GP or other healthcare professionals where appropriate.

Referral to Medical Services
Holistic Wellness supports appropriate collaboration with conventional healthcare professionals.

A client may be advised to seek medical assessment where symptoms, history, screening results or observations warrant further investigation.

Referral or recommendation to consult a GP does not itself indicate that a particular medical condition is present.

Emergencies and Urgent Symptoms
Holistic Wellness does not provide emergency or urgent medical care.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, or symptoms requiring urgent assessment, you should seek appropriate medical assistance immediately.

In the United Kingdom, this may include contacting your GP, NHS 111 or, in an emergency, calling 999 or attending an appropriate emergency department.

Do not delay seeking urgent medical attention while waiting for advice or an appointment from Holistic Wellness.

Children, Pregnancy and Complex Medical Conditions
Additional caution may be required when providing nutritional or complementary guidance to children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or where an individual has significant medical conditions or takes multiple medications.

Where appropriate, medical approval or collaboration with the individual's GP, consultant, pharmacist or other healthcare professional may be recommended before implementing particular interventions.

Information Provided by Clients
Recommendations and interpretations depend partly upon the accuracy and completeness of the information supplied by the client.

Clients should disclose relevant medical diagnoses, symptoms, medications, supplements, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status and other information that may affect the suitability of recommendations.

Holistic Wellness cannot be responsible for consequences arising from significant health or medication information that has not been disclosed.

Website Information
Information contained on this website is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

Website content should not be used to self-diagnose a medical condition, determine treatment, alter prescribed medication or replace consultation with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Descriptions of conditions, symptoms, nutrients, biomarkers or complementary health concepts are provided for educational purposes and do not imply that Holistic Wellness diagnoses or treats those conditions.

Results and Outcomes
Health and nutritional outcomes differ considerably between individuals.

No guarantee is made regarding the outcome of an assessment, nutritional programme, supplement programme, lifestyle intervention or complementary approach.

Recommendations are designed to support the individual based upon information available at the time and should form part of an appropriate wider approach to health and wellbeing.

Professional Collaboration
Holistic Wellness recognises the importance of multidisciplinary healthcare and encourages clients to maintain appropriate relationships with their GP, pharmacist, consultant and other regulated healthcare professionals.

Complementary and nutritional approaches should work responsibly alongside appropriate conventional healthcare rather than replace necessary medical assessment or treatment.

Consent
By booking and participating in a Holistic Wellness consultation or assessment, clients acknowledge the complementary and educational nature of the services provided and the limitations described within this disclaimer.

Where an assessment or procedure requires specific consent, this will be discussed with the client as appropriate.

Privacy and Confidentiality
Personal and health-related information provided to Holistic Wellness will be handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable UK data protection requirements and the practice's Privacy Policy.

Further information regarding the collection, storage and use of personal information should be provided within the Holistic Wellness Privacy Policy.

Important Summary
Holistic Wellness provides complementary nutritional, lifestyle and observational health services. These services are intended to provide additional insights and education and do not replace medical diagnosis, treatment, laboratory investigation or ongoing care from your GP or other appropriately qualified healthcare professionals.

If you have concerns about your health, new or unexplained symptoms, abnormal test results or worsening symptoms, please seek appropriate medical advice.
